On behalf of the Medomak Valley administration I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for visiting this website. As part of the accreditation process, a visiting team from the New England Association of Schools and Colleges(NEASC) paid Medomak Valley a site visit during the last week in September 2006. The purpose of the visit was to assess our school and programs in seven different standard areas. As a result of this visit a report was generated by the visiting committee which will be reviewed by the Commission of Public Secondary Schools in late March 2007. The Commission is a division of NEASC which accredits public high schools. At that time the Commission will determine our accreditation status. As you will notice there are 113 recommendations in the report which must be addressed within the next five years. Eight of the recommendations have been acted upon already. A follow-up committee of teachers will be appointed to work with the administration to plan and work on the remaining 105 recommendations. We will address each recommendation in a thoughtful and thorough manner. Should you have any questions about the report please feel free to contact the Medomak Valley administration, we will be happy to discuss any aspect of the report with you.
Sincerely,
Harold E. Wilson
Principal
