Grading Policy

Late Work Policy:

Students are allowed to turn in one late assignment per quarter for full credit.

All other late assignments will not be given credit unless..

If a student is not passing, late work will be accepted until the low grade is brought up to passing (70).

Late assignments after the first will only be counted as long as the student needs them to get to a 70. In other words late assignments will only help you to pass, not to do well.

As the quarter moves on, future success in the class will allow the points once accepted (to bring the grade to 70) to drop to zero.

In other words, I only accept late work if it helps you improve your grade to a 70. If you have a 78 in the class and you want to improve your grade you can turn in one late assignment and let's say it brings you to an 82. If you still have late work you have not turned in, too bad, I won't accept it.

Assignments must be turned in on time for credit.

Late work will not be accepted after the quarter ends!
