Medomak Valley High School offers this science elective course to help our students understand, appreciate, and enjoy our nearby marine environment

Six specimens of Halichoeres bivittatus now make their homes in the gravel of our marine tank. In the wild, they burrow into the Caribbean sand to avoid predation, In room 20, they burrow to avoid boredom. The common name of these critters is humorous and inappropriate for this page, look it up, or go ask one of our librarians - they are the keepers of all Medomak knowledge!
We also have a specimen of a Beaugregory (Pomacentris diencaeus). It has our school colors right now so it is our un-official mascot. In time it will assume a darker color and lose all of its blue and gold.
